At a young age, Dr. Julia Chrapka discovered something that would shape the rest of her life — that the way you feel about your smile has a quiet but real impact on the way you move through the world. That discovery set her on a path she hasn't looked back from since.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from McMaster University, Dr. Chrapka went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University in 2016.
She spent the years that followed building something she values deeply in dentistry — real relationships. Practicing in Fergus under the mentorship of Dr. McKeown, she worked with patients and families across the community, bringing a calm, patient-centred approach to every appointment. Her gentle manner extends to patients of all ages, from children experiencing their very first visit, to adults who haven't been to the dentist in years and simply need a little more time before they feel ready to begin.
Now, she's opened the practice she's always envisioned. Alora Dental is where her love of modern dentistry meets the warmth and personal care that has always defined her approach — a calm, thoughtfully designed space that feels nothing like what most people expect from a dental office.
Dr. Chrapka offers a range of general and cosmetic services, including dental implants, SureSmile clear aligners, digital scanning, and 3D imaging. She is deeply committed to staying current in her field — not for the credentials, but because the people sitting in her chair deserve a dentist who never stops learning.
